Detailed Itinerary of 6 Days Tanzania Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha City and Transfer to Serengeti National Park, Have Evening Game Drive
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and be transferred to Serengeti National Park. The journey unfolds are whisked away to the iconic Serengeti National Park, a sprawling expanse of untamed beauty and unparalleled wildlife sights.
Enjoy en-route lunch and when you arrive in the park, you will head to your lodge with a short game drive in Serengeti plains. Check-in, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Adventure in Serengeti National Park (Game Drive, Hot Air Balloon, Maasai People Visit, Great Migration)
Wake up early for breakfast, and head out for a full day game drive and a hot air balloon flight. From the break of dawn till the fading light of dusk, travelers are treated to a full day of exploration and discovery.
On a hot air balloon flight, you will enjoy aerial views of Serengeti’s landscape and its wildlife as you glide in the air. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the sweeping plains and wildlife including lions, herds of elephants, buffaloes among other. The experience concludes with a champagne breakfast served in the forest.
Your adventure continues with a full day game drive exploring the plains of Serengeti on which you will enjoy excellent sightings of several animals including lions, leopards, cheetahs, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, elephants among others. Enjoy lunch at one of the picnic sites in the park and continue exploring till late afternoon. Head to the Maasai Village for cultural immersion, interact with the elders, be entertained by local dances and drama among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and embark on a journey back to Arusha where you will be dropped at the airport to catch your flight to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. On arrival, you will be picked up and be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast, meet your driver guide and embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stop at the equator crossing in Kayabwe for pictures and in Mbarara for lunch. From Kampala, it is a journey of approximately 8-10 hours. Expect to arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest and Batwa Cultural Village Visit
Wake up early for breakfast, head to the park’s headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. A senior ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow while in the forest. In groups of 8 people, head into the forest searching for mountain gorillas, the trek takes approximately 2 to 5 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night.
Spend one hour with the gorillas, watching them play, feed and groom each other. You are free to take pictures as long as you flash light is off, return to the starting point, meet your driver guide and return to your lodge. Later in the day, head to the Batwa Village for a cultural experience, here you will be entertained by local dances and drama, meet the elders, witness their skillful hunting and visit the local medicine man. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Drive Back to Entebbe Airport and Departure Back Home
Today is the last day on your Tanzania Uganda Safari, enjoy an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara. You will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
